Sign Agreements
Agree on deliverables, sign collaboration agreement, print, and model release documents. Complete 2257 documentation if required based on the content of the shoot.
Photoshoot
Shoot up to 2 hours at Temple of Nyx Studio in DTLA (on seamless color backdrops)
– or –
Shoot up to 2 hours at your location (as long as the location is conducive for shooti)
– or –
Shoot up to 3 hours at a rented location (Studio, Airbnb, Hotel)
Any cost for a location shoot is to be split between parties unless otherwise noted.*
Proof
Online proofing gallery will be provided by Temple of Nyx within 7 days of the shoot. Gallery is available for 21 days to select proofs and retouching.
Deliverables
Retouched photos will be posted within 4 weeks of proof selection via online gallery or dropbox link. Gallery is available for 30 days after deliverables are posted.
What’s Included
80-100 full sized watermarked retouched images from models selection, video if the shoot was to include video. All images from models selection as color-corrected watermarked web size images.
Non-Exclusive Commercial usage rights included.
Copies of all releases and agreements, and addendums to the agreements.

Location Rental
Studio and Location Rental costs are to be split between parties as it’s a collaborative effort. However, due to multiple no-show events Temple of Nyx will not cover the rental cost upfront. Temple of Nyx will reimburse 50% of the rental cost up to $200 dollars upon conclusion of the shoot .
Creative Learning
Temple of Nyx may use these collaboration shoots to work on new skills or techniques such as lighting, videography, VR video, or for other creative skill development. The product of these efforts may be, but are not required to be shared as part of the deliverables. Final determination is held by the photographer based on the quality or viability of the supplemental work. Inclusion of these exercises will not impact completion of the established goals for the shoot.
FAQ

How long do we have to wait to get deliverables?
Shoots can be rescheduled when time permits as long as notice has been given at least a day before the shoot. The partial rental cost will not be reimbursed if the shoot is at a rented location.
What happens if we need to reschedule?
What’s a shoot on seamless?
Shoots at the DTLA studio are shot on solid color seamless background paper, there is more focus on the subject and lighting than the overall environment. They are excellent photos for promotional images, experimenting with lights and colors, and sexy wardrobes.
How do I find a studio to rent?
Peerspace is a recommended app to look for spaces around LA, there are dozens of studios in DTLA that are available to rent. Studio FD is another location that’s recommended. If a studio shoot is desired we’ll closely coordinate to find a location that meets our needs and budget.
Can you shoot at my home, hotel, or airbnb?
Yes, location shooting is possible, there is no additional charge for locations up to 10-15 miles from DTLA, anything over 15 miles there is a travel fee of up to $150 depending on the distance. The location must be conducive for shooting, there should be room for lighting equipment and at least 2 good locations to use for shooting.
